The Tamiya 58677-60A faithfully replicates the Karmann Ghia's elegant silhouette, offering modellers a compact but detailed historic coupe. The body captures the car's slim waist and swept curves while fitting neatly to the M-06 chassis for believable scale stance.
Using a rear-mounted motor and rear-wheel drive, the M-06 chassis reproduces an authentic RR feel that rewards setup tweaks. Placing the battery longitudinally and arranging components to the sides helps achieve even weight bias and steady handling on paved tracks.
The chassis uses four independent double wishbones to keep tyres in contact and to deliver crisp steering feedback. Metal-plated wheels combine with 60D radial tyres at the front and sticky radials at the rear to offer predictable traction for precision driving.
The kit includes a polycarbonate Karmann Ghia shell and separate plated trim parts for authentic detail. Window masks and decal sheets simplify painting and finishing. A Tamiya 540 brushed motor is supplied but you will need to add an ESC to complete the electronics.
For scale-focused builders the Tamiya Volkswagen Karmann Ghia on M-06 delivers an attractive display model and an engaging on-road drive when set up correctly.
