Often called the "Wooden Wonder," the Mosquito used plywood construction to achieve remarkable performance where many contemporaries were metal. The FB Mk.VI, produced from 1943, carried a potent weapons fit including four 7.7mm machine guns, four 20mm cannons and the capacity to carry four 500 lb bombs.

Accurate Fit and Visible Engine Work

This Tamiya 1/32 kit recreates the Mosquitos lines and cockpit in fine scale. The model spans 515mm across the wings and features a fully detailed cockpit plus the option to pose the bomb bay open. Clear engine cowling parts are supplied so the Merlins can be shown on display.
