Tamiya's 1/72 scale version of the Lockheed Martin F-16CJ Block 50 captures the airframe's multifunction role in scaled form. The F-16CJ has been employed in radar suppression and strike tasks since its 1991 entry to service, and the kit echoes the aircraft's evolved systems introduced under CCIP.
New lower-fuselage and stores parts make this release notable for display builders. Included components depict the centreline fuel tank, wing-mounted fuel tanks, ECM countermeasures pod, AGM-88 HARMs, the AN/ASQ-213 HTS pod, AIM-120 AMRAAMs, AIM-9M and -9X Sidewinder missiles, along with the AN/AAQ-33 Sniper XR targeting pod.
