The Douglas F4D-1 Skyray stands out as the U.S. Navys only delta-wing interceptor, captured here in 1/48 scale by Tamiya. Drawing on postwar aeronautical advances, the Skyray recorded notable speed achievements in the early 1950s and went into service in 1956, though it did not see combat. This kit recreates the jets key traits, such as the sharply swept 50-degree wing and the carrier-oriented folding arrangement.
