Tamiya item 61106 - F-16C/N AGGRESSOR/ADVERSARY - 1/48 scale Fighter Aircrafts Military Series assembly kit

Since 1975, the U.S. Air Force is actually keeping major training workouts called Red Flag at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. These workouts pit a Blue Force against an opposing Red Force which include "Aggressor" products made with F-16C Block 32 and 42 to simulate MiG and Sukhoi fighters. Similary, the U.S. Navy's "Adversary" products used the purpose-built F-16N, which have been on the basis of the F-16C Block 30 in their own personal famous TOPGUN college at Miramar in California. These "Aggressor/Adversary" aircraft frequently had colorful camouflage schemes.

Regarding the Model

This kit includes the elements needed to build either the F-16C Block 30, Block 32, Block 42, or F-16N aircraft employed by ASAF Aggressor and USN Adversary squadrons.
2 kinds of primary landing gear, atmosphere usage, and motor nozzle are included.
Groundbreaking elements depicting ACMI pods (2), sensors inside airtake, and, for the very first time ever, an AN/ALQ-188 Jamming Pod, which ar available on Aggressor/Adversary F-16s.
Brand unique elements in many cases are included to depict F-16A tires, of current on F-16N and intensely very early F-16C Block 30 aircraft.
