What tools are recommended to assemble this kit?

Basic modelling tools such as precision cutters, sanding sticks, plastic cement and a hobby knife are useful. An airbrush helps with large surfaces but careful hand brushing also gives good results.

Can the propeller motors be tested before final assembly?

Yes, the four micro-motors can be connected to a UM2 alkaline battery to verify rotation prior to final installation; remember the battery is not supplied with the kit.
