When heated in an electric toaster oven, the Pla-plate contracts to about one sixth of its original area while becoming roughly six times thicker. This gives you compact, tougher pieces that suit detailed scale work.

The transparent surface takes permanent marker ink cleanly, so you can add crisp lines or coloured panels without advanced painting. For different effects, try plastic-compatible paints on test pieces first.
