Tamiya XF-89 Dark Green 2 arrives in a handy 10ml bottle and suits a wide range of modelling tasks. Its water based acrylic resin lets you brush or airbrush onto styrene, foam, wood and common model plastics while maintaining control over opacity and layering.
The paint covers smoothly and blends easily to achieve subtle weathering and custom shades. As it is water soluble before it cures, you can remove or soften areas with plain water for corrections. The XF finish is intentionally flat for realistic scale surfaces.
For spraying, thin XF-89 with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or choose Tamiya Lacquer Thinner for faster drying and a harder film. If brush finishing is preferred, use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) to cut down on visible brush strokes.
