Can I use these on non-Tamiya shocks?

They are intended for the C.V.A Super Mini Shock Unit form factor. Some third party shocks with the same outer dimensions may fit, but check measurements before fitting.

Will the plastic hold up to frequent track use?

The cylinders are durable for normal hobby use; regular inspection for cracks or wear is recommended, especially if you run hard off-road or on rough surfaces.

How do I check oil and seals with these fitted?

Because they are translucent, you can see oil level and piston motion while compressing the shock. Remove the collars to inspect seals and top up or replace oil as needed.
