The Tamiya 84299 - 1/10 Scale Ferrari 599XX Lightweight Body Kit brings a lighter visual profile and performance benefit to 1/10 scale Tamiya cars. It is suited to multiple chassis platforms including the TA06, TA05, TB-02, TT-01, and TA04.

Accurate dimensions for a snug installation

Constructed from tough polycarbonate, the body balances weight savings and durability, ideal for both tarmac and club track use. The body dimensions are carefully set at 448mm length, 190mm width and 121mm height to ensure a tidy fit.

Paint prep and masking included

Masking stickers are supplied so you can block out colour areas for neat paintwork; remember to use polycarbonate-grade paints which are not included with the kit.

Can this body be used for road and drift setups?

Yes. The lightweight polycarbonate shell suits both on-road racing and drift cars, though wheel openings and front bumper areas may need small cuts for drift setups.

Do I need special tools to trim the body?

Basic modelling tools like a sharp hobby knife, scissors and fine sandpaper are usually enough. A body reamer helps for clean post holes.

Will the included stickers survive paint stripping?

Masking stickers are intended for single-use during paint. If you remove paint, they may lose adhesion, so replace them if you plan multiple paint cycles.
