Tamiya TS-59 from the 85059 line is a synthetic acrylic lacquer in a 100ml spray can tailored for model builders. Its quick-dry mix is suited to coating 1/24 scale plastic car bodies and other kit panels where a subtle pearl effect is wanted.

What It Works With

This paint bonds well to prepared plastic and can be applied over existing acrylic or enamel layers once they are fully cured. That makes it handy for repainting or layering effects without heavy rework.

Application Hints

• Wipe the surface with a lint-free cloth to remove dust before spraying.
• Mix the can by shaking until the mixing ball moves freely for an even spray pattern.
• Use short, overlapping passes and build colour gradually to prevent runs and orange peel.
