The Tamiya PS-43 Translucent Orange spray is made for polycarbonate RC car shells. This 100ml aerosol produces a striking translucent effect while giving a neat, uniform surface on the inside of the body shell.

Best Practices When Spraying Polycarbonate

Spray from the inside of the shell for clean coverage. Keep the can roughly 30cm away and apply several light passes rather than one heavy coat to reduce runs. Wait until the first layer is dry before adding another coat for deeper hue. Use Tamiya's polycarbonate bottle paints for fine lines and small masked areas.

Performance Under Fuel and Oil Exposure

The paint is designed to resist oils and fuels, so it performs well on petrol or nitro RC models. The finish is robust enough to keep your shell looking good during normal running and practice sessions.
