Tamiya PS-46 Iridescent Purple/Green is designed for decorating polycarbonate RC bodies, producing a pearlescent effect that moves between purple and green in different light. The 100ml aerosol gives enough paint for a typical body and produces a durable, eye catching finish.

Preparation and Inside Painting Technique

Prepare the body by masking windows and spray from the inside to protect the outer surface. Keep about 30cm distance and apply several thin passes rather than one heavy coat. Additional layers deepen the colour and increase resistance to wear. The paint stands up to oil and fuel exposure encountered on nitro models.

Surface Guidance and Limitations

Tamiya PS-46 is intended for polycarbonate use only and is not suitable for standard injection moulded plastics. Following correct curing and layering will ensure the finish handles typical RC running conditions.
