If you build and paint RC shells, the Tamiya 87152 spray primer gives a practical base for difficult plastics. Its formulation targets materials that often reject paint, including polypropylene and FRP, and the 100ml can provides controlled coverage for neat results.
This primer works well on nylon and similar components to improve topcoat adhesion. It is not suitable for polyethylene, so avoid using it on that substrate. Proper priming reduces the chance of flaking and improves overall finish durability.
Clean parts thoroughly and remove any oily residue before spraying. Agitate the can well, apply light, even coats in a ventilated workspace, and let each layer dry fully prior to painting.
