This iteration is fitted with PBT resin bristles that offer a touch more stiffness and strong durability compared with soft natural hair. The result is steadier strokes and reduced splaying over time.

Practical handle with anti-roll detail

The handle is moulded from solvent-resistant plastic to tolerate different hobby paints and thinners. A laser-engraved "TAMIYA MODELING BRUSH HG II" marking adds a neat factory touch.

Built-in at the grip end is a small tab to stop rolling on workbenches, keeping the ferrule off surfaces. The tab can be removed cleanly with side cutters if desired.
