Tamiya item 89541 - U.S.M551 Sheridan - 1/35 scale Tanks Military Series assembly kit

In-may 1966, the U.S. Army developed the M551 Sheridan light tank which combined the talents for the M41 Walker Bulldog and M56 Scorpion. It may be quickly deployed to conflict areas via airdrop to produce fire assistance or anti-armor capability. The highly-mobile, amphibious M551 showcased lightweight aluminum alloy construction and wound up being running on a 300hp diesel engine.
