The 1/48 scale Henschel Hs-123A-1 fighter plan model by Italeri includes a few Tamiya initial drum cans and Jerry cans as used by Luftwaffe to hold airplane gas, causeing this become model ready-made to be utilized as a diorama centerpiece.

Towards Henschel Hs-123A-1

Developed in 1935, the Henschel Hs-123A-1 served as a ground-attack fighter in Spanish Civil War and WWII. Operating on an 880hp air-cooled BMW132 engine, the open-topped Henschel was considered obsolete by the beginning of WWII. But its low-speed stable flying caused it to be perfect as a ground attack fighter during the German Blitzkrieg offensive. From 1941 it also served regarding Eastern front side, in which it gained pilots' trust because durability and high working price. Abdominal muscles final Henschel's disappeared from industry in summertime of 1944.
