Tamiya item 89753 - Battle of Malaya Set - 1/700 scale Battleship/ Cruiser Navy Military Series assembly kit

Given to Singapore to greatly help deter Japanese advances inside community, the battleship Prince of Wales and battle cruiser Repulse are symbols of British naval energy. On December 8th, 1941,these two cash vessels, escorted by two E course destroyers (HMS Electra, HMS Express), one S Class destroyer (HMS Tenedos), along with the Australian navy destroyer HMAS Vampire, sent from Singapore hitting a Japanese intrusion force. This objective wound up being aborted as well as the team,minus the detached HMS Tenedos, switched right back towards Singapore.
