Model Brief: Tamiya 92467 Mach Frame Ver.3 (FM-A layout)

The third iteration of the Mach Frame Fighting Korea Edition shifts from the earlier lighter palette to a darker, more aggressive aesthetic. The Ver.3 body sports a black metallic finish, contrasted by a red chassis and black A-parts to present a stronger visual profile. Decal art preserves national color cues while adopting a sleeker, more modern arrangement.

Using the FM-A chassis gives the model a forward-biased center of gravity that experienced builders will recognise for improving stability after jumps. The release pairs its visual overhaul with track-oriented parts, including disc-type carbon-reinforced wheels fitted with maroon low-friction, low-profile tyres that help control rebound on landings and support tighter racing lines.

  • Scale: 1/32
  • Chassis: FM-A (front-motor layout)
  • Drive: 4WD
  • Motor: Torque Tuned 2 (included)
  • Wheels: disc-type carbon-reinforced wheels
  • Tires: maroon low-friction low-profile tyres
  • Body and trim: black metallic body, red chassis, black A-parts

Ver.3 refines the series' visual identity while retaining mechanical choices familiar from previous Fighting Korea kits; it is intended for builders and collectors who prioritise edition detail and stock configuration.

Given the forward center of gravity, reducing front ride height slightly and checking front stabiliser placement can help maintain predictable handling during landings and corner entries.
Out of the box the kit is track-ready for club runs, but competitive racers often fit tuned motors, lighter wheels, or custom gearing to tailor acceleration and top speed to local circuits.
The tyres are supplied fitted for convenience but not permanently glued; builders can glue or replace them depending on grip preferences and race rules.
The sticker sheet retains nods to national colours while simplifying graphics into a more futuristic layout, designed to complement the darker body finish.
It is best suited to hobbyists with prior assembly experience and collectors interested in version differences; absolute beginners may find some assembly steps challenging without guidance.
