Yomiuri Giants Styled Mini 4WD on MS Base

The Tamiya 94687 Yomiuri Giants Special Limited Edition brings team artwork into scale model form. At 1/32, the kit rides on the MS chassis, prized for its modular construction that makes adjustments and servicing simple. Team insignia and the Giabit-kun motif are applied across the body, roof and rear wing to mirror the club identity.

Manufactured from reinforced polycarbonate ABS resin, the centre chassis stays light while accommodating the N-02 and T-01 units, so the model reads more as a display piece than a performance racer. The set ships with orange barrel-type tyres fitted to black narrow lightweight wheels to match the theme. A set of 75th-anniversary emblems and numbered stickers are included for extra customisation options.

What level of modelling skill does this require?

Standard kit assembly skills are sufficient; the MS chassis assembly is straightforward but attention to decal placement and paintwork will give the best display result.

Are the tyres mounted or separate pieces?

The orange barrel-type tyres are supplied mounted on the black narrow lightweight wheels in the box, so you can present the model straight away or swap them for other tyres if preferred.

Will the stickers affect display longevity?

Apply stickers carefully to clean surfaces and consider a clear coat over decals on painted shells to protect them from yellowing or lifting over time.
