The Tamiya 94696 - JR HG FRP Wide Front Plate is made for Mini 4WD hobbyists running bumperless N-03 units who want improved front-end stability. Its 3mm FRP layer with carbon reinforcement gives a firm but light upgrade that helps retain setup settings under race conditions. The broad roller mounting layout allows you to adjust machine width up to 104mm for a more planted feel on the track.

This plate is compatible with MS chassis cars and can be adapted to N-01 and N-02 units after removing the bumpers. It is a practical choice for those refining handling and works with many Mini 4WD PRO bodies for easy styling and fitment.

Do I need special tools to install this plate?

Basic hobby tools are sufficient: small screwdrivers and hex drivers used for Mini 4WD assembly will do. A hobby knife may help with minor trimming if fitting to other chassis types.
