The Tamiya 94870 JR Zenquish VS Chassis kit is a special edition release that appeals to both collectors and track-focused modellers. It keeps the original design lineage while offering modern VS chassis parts that improve durability and tuning range for competitive runs.

Structure and Body Details

The VS chassis is produced in resilient ABS to withstand race impacts and repeated use. The body uses the familiar Item 15088 Zenquish mould, and A-parts are cast in Light Gun Metal ABS for a premium look. FRP parts such as the front under-guard and chassis under-guard strengthen critical areas for more consistent performance.

Track Performance and Parts Fit

This kit supplies FRP elements like the Multi Roller Setting Stay and Rear Roller Stay which are compatible with Super X family parts. Large diameter carbon reinforced narrow wheels plus arched tyres help deliver good traction and speed. Low friction rollers in 13mm and 19mm, aluminium collars and stainless fasteners allow fine tuning. A Type 130 motor is required but not included with the kit.
