The Tamiya 95150 Jr Hyper-Dash 3 Motor marks the Japan Cup 2022 with a special finish that appeals to both racers and collectors. Its silver and blue-green labelling and red endbell give it a standout look while remaining a practical upgrade for Mini 4WD hobbyists.
This motor aims for a balanced powerband suitable for many circuit types. It operates on 2.4-3.0V input voltage, offers torque in the 1.4-1.9mN-m range and turns at roughly 17,200-21,200 rpm. Expected current draw falls between 1.6-3.0A under normal running conditions.
The unit fits the majority of Mini 4WD machines but is not compatible with the Mini 4WD PRO series. Proper installation calls for an 8T pinion gear, sold separately. The motor uses silver carbon mix brushes to balance conductivity and longevity for club and weekend racing.
