Overview of Tamiya 95164 Mach Frame Silver Metallic

The Tamiya 95164 Mach Frame Silver Metallic is a standout Mini 4WD kit that appeals to both display collectors and competitive racers. Built to 1/32 scale, the model uses the FM-A chassis with a front-mounted motor to enhance aerodynamics and handling on tracks that include bumps and gradients.

This special silver metallic release is accentuated with metallic stickers for a polished look. The sculpted body takes inspiration from sport bikes and jet fighters, reflecting Tamiya's design focus on speed-inspired aesthetics. The chassis is molded in metallic gray ABS and comes with low-friction parts and a front skid bar to reduce drag and wear.

The kit includes white A-spoke wheels matched to super hard low-profile tyres for stable cornering on standard Mini 4WD tracks. A 130-size motor and a 3.5:1 gear ratio are supplied, and the model requires two AA batteries to operate.

I have been purchasing Tamiya products with Rcjaz for a couple of months now, selection is awesome and service is quick and reliable, considering I leave half way around the world.
The FM-A chassis performs well on circuits with rises, descents and technical sections because the front motor and body shape help maintain balance through transitions.
Yes - the FM-A layout allows common Grade-Up parts to be attached, such as upgraded rollers, stabilisers and lightweight wheels to tune speed and cornering.
Assembly is straightforward for modellers with basic experience; the kit is mostly snap and screw fit, though care is needed when applying stickers and installing the 130 motor.
