The Tamiya 95176 Jr Torque-Tuned Motor J-Cup 2025 is a commemorative unit crafted to give Mini 4WD cars improved launch and less speed loss on complex courses. The silver label marks the limited release and signals its torque-focused setup.
This motor will mount in most Mini 4WD cars but is not suitable for the Mini 4WD PRO series. It features metal brushes for steady electrical transfer, helping maintain consistent output. Designed to run between 2.4 and 3.0 volts, it produces roughly 1.6 to 2.0 mN-m of torque under recommended loading and spins in the region of 12,300 to 14,700 rpm with no load.
Optimised for twisty, slope-filled circuits where acceleration control matters. A separate 8T pinion gear is necessary to complete the installation, allowing tuning of final drive ratios. Visually the orange endbell and the silver with blue-green label make this motor stand out in a pit box.
