The Tamiya 95636 HG Heavy Aluminum Wheels are milled aluminium rims intended to upgrade Mini 4WD performance. Their metal construction gives a lower centre of gravity than typical resin wheels, helping to reduce body roll and produce more controlled runs on technical and fast layouts.

Compatibility and usage

These wheels are compatible with Mini 4WD and Mini 4WD PRO cars that accept large-diameter narrow tyres. They work well with tyres like Item 15368 (Large Dia. Narrow Lightweight Wheels with Arched Tires) and Item 15388 (Narrow Reston Sponge Tires). Polypropylene bushings are supplied to ensure smooth spin on standard axles.

Weighing roughly 14 grams per pair, these heavy aluminium wheels let builders shift mass to the front or rear to refine balance. Use them to dampen unwanted pitch and to stabilise cornering at higher speeds without altering major drivetrain parts.

Fitment advice and upkeep

Each pack includes four white PP bushings for mounting. For replacements, use Item 10306 (Mini 4WD Bushing for Aluminum Wheels). Be aware that some body shells may require a small amount of trimming to clear the wheel diameter.
