The Tamiya 95642 - HG Wide Carbon Rear Stay with Sliding Damper 2mm (Mini 4WD 40th Anniversary) provides a stiffer, lighter rear mount for Mini 4WD racers. Its carbon construction helps lower weight and gives multiple mounting options for tailored handling.

Main specifications

Material: Made from 2mm carbon fibre to achieve roughly a 40 percent weight drop compared with aluminium alternatives.
Compatibility: Intended for MA, MS, VZ, FM-A, AR and Super-II chassis. Note that Item 15467 is required to activate sliding movement.
Setup options: Hole spacing supports 9, 13, 17 and 19mm rollers so you can configure the rear geometry to suit different track layouts and corner types.

Fitting advice

Install using the chassis mounting screws. Some chassis or body shells may need minor trimming for full clearance with the wider carbon stay. Purchase Item 15467 separately to use the sliding damper feature.

In most cases yes, it bolts onto MA, MS, VZ, FM-A, AR and Super-II chassis. Double check body and wing clearance before final assembly.
