Tamiya 95675 - Jr HG Carbon Rear Brake Stay (Silver, 1.5mm) Details

The Tamiya 95675 Jr HG Carbon Rear Brake Stay is a special run intended to boost handling on Fully Cowled Mini 4WD cars. The silver carbon fiber look celebrates three decades of the platform while the slim, stiff 1.5mm construction keeps unsprung mass low and helps maintain line through corners.

Materials and Fitment

Manufactured from 1.5mm carbon fiber, this brake stay balances durability with weight savings. The silver finish highlights the anniversary mark and the part is compatible with common chassis types such as MA, MS, VZ, FM-A, AR, VS, Super-II, Super X, Super XX, and Super TZ-X for broad fitment across models.

Adjustment and Upgrade Potential

Designed with a variety of mounting points, the stay supports mass dampers and other Grade-Up items to tune handling and braking response. The brake sponge must be purchased separately, but this stay supplies the necessary mounting options to refine braking balance.

Standard hobby tools like a small hex driver and fine screwdrivers are enough. Use care when tightening to avoid crushing the carbon fiber around screw holes.
Carbon fiber surfaces can show scuffs over time with heavy use. Handle the part carefully during installation and avoid abrasive contact to keep the finish looking its best.
Most common chassis accept the stay directly, but some older or modified frames may need minor bracket work or spacers. Test-fit before final assembly to confirm alignment.
The additional rigidity from a 1.5mm carbon stay can reduce flex at the rear, which often improves stability at higher speeds when combined with correct damping and weight distribution.
