BB-01 (BBX) Servo Stay Upgrade

This aluminium servo stay is a compact upgrade created for the Tamiya BB-01 (BBX) scale chassis. It swaps the factory plastic stay for a blue anodised aluminium component to offer a firmer anchoring point for the servo, aimed at model-level setup and tuning work. It is not intended for any full-size vehicle application.

Fitting is done using the BB-01’s existing servo mounting points; confirm hole alignment and hardware compatibility before final tightening. The stay reduces movement at the servo mount so steering inputs remain more consistent while adjusting geometry or testing on the track. Do not overtighten fasteners to avoid thread damage or warping the mount.

Setup advice: increasing servo mounting stiffness often yields a more precise steering feel, useful when adjusting toe, camber or linkage positions. Keep in mind any change here should be balanced with servo saver settings, linkage arrangement and suspension setup to preserve overall handling balance.
