Rear spring damper for BBX upgrades

This is an aftermarket rear shock assembly built for the TAMIYA 1/10 BBX BB-01 platform and sold under GPM as model BBX090R. It is intended as a rear hop-up to allow riders to tune spring preload from the top retainer.

The set features 7075 aluminium damper bodies and comes with two assembled rear dampers plus two spare silver springs. The supplied dampers use the original black springs, and the extra silver springs have a slightly larger 0.1mm wire diameter for a stiffer option.

Preload adjustment is mechanical and straightforward, letting you alter effective spring rate to refine rear balance and rebound behaviour on the BBX BB-01 chassis without altering the shock tube itself.

Packing includes

Use these dampers to replace worn rear shocks or to fine-tune rear response with a durable 7075 aluminium body and easy preload changes; they mount to existing points for quick fitting.

Yes, they are designed for the BBX BB-01 rear shock locations and should be a direct fit using stock mounting hardware.
Install the included silver springs, which have a 0.1mm thicker wire, or increase preload with the top retainer to stiffen the rear end.
Inspect springs and mounting screws periodically, and check damping action for smooth travel; replace seals or oil if you notice leaks or sluggish movement.
