Continuous underbody shield

The BBX333 is an aftermarket integrated stainless underplate made for the TAMIYA BBX BB-01. As a continuous front, centre and rear piece, it increases chassis rigidity and gives a wear-resistant surface that deflects stones, sand and trail debris while keeping factory mounting points intact.

Fabricated from durable stainless steel with an integrated moulding process, the 1mm plate stands up to bending and surface corrosion over extended use. Its continuous construction spreads impact energy along the plate rather than concentrating forces at single chassis attachment points, lowering the risk of fractures.

Installation uses the supplied Grade 12.9 black flat head screws to attach the plate to the front, centre and rear chassis points. Check that the plate sits flush and that screws engage fully to prevent uneven loads. As an aftermarket addition, the skid adds footprint stiffness and a predictable contact surface for low-clearance setups.

For BB-01 drivers who run rough tracks, this 1mm stainless skid plate offers straightforward protection and chassis reinforcement without changing mounting geometry.
