This fully assembled rear differential is built for certain TAMIYA 1/10 chassis. The BBX52S replaces the stock BBX BB-01 rear differential (54471), converting the original ball-type mechanism into a steel bevel-gear arrangement manufactured from 40Cr steel with a 52-tooth gear. The item is supplied preassembled and includes slim stainless washers for bearing clearance adjustment.
Fit notes: remove the two foam spacers when installing on BBX models; XV01 installs without removing foam. Differential oil must be sourced separately. If your setup uses the same unit at both ends, order a second set.
Servicing and setup: the included stainless 10x12x0.3mm washers let you adjust bearing play precisely; use medium-strength threadlocker on fasteners to reduce the chance of loosening. No special machining is necessary beyond standard rear gearbox access on the listed chassis.
