Component Details

This aluminium alloy bulkhead is an aftermarket replacement intended for use on the Tamiya CC01 chassis, listed as CC008. It is supplied as one piece to occupy the front body and bumper mounting area on CC01 layouts.

As a metal substitute for the factory plastic bulkhead, the unit supports body and bumper fixings while adding a stiffer mounting point for front-end tuning. Hobbyists often fit it to reduce flex and keep alignment consistent over repeated service cycles.

Fitting advice: the item installs at the original front bulkhead location and uses existing chassis mounting holes. Align the part before tightening and torque screws conservatively to protect the alloy and chassis threads.

This item is compatible with

  • TAMIYA CC01
Yes. It is intended to replace the stock front bulkhead and use the standard mounting points on a Tamiya CC01 chassis.
Switching to an aluminium bulkhead can slightly increase front-end stiffness, which may alter steering feedback and suspension feel. Test setup changes incrementally.
Use the correct screw lengths, check that washers sit flat, and inspect threads periodically. Replace any worn fasteners to maintain secure mounting.
