High grade aluminium hi-torque servo saver made as an aftermarket option for the Tamiya CC01 chassis and supplied as one matched set. The aluminium body works with a steel tie rod and a 25T spline that mates with many standard servo horns on scale models. It is intended to reduce impact loads to the servo while keeping steering response direct for tuning and scale driving.
For scale use only, this unit replaces the stock plastic saver to give a firmer mechanical interface between servo output and steering linkage. The aluminium increases torsional rigidity while the steel tie rod resists bending under strain, improving feel without eliminating protection.
Fitting advice: remove the original saver, verify your servo uses a 25T spline before assembly, secure linkages to the recommended engagement, and check steering centre after installation. No changes to electronics are required but minor trim adjustment may help re-centre the servo.
