The JR-CC201-BK replaces the stock plastic front brace on the Tamiya CC-02 with a black anodized aluminum piece that incorporates a dedicated servo mounting point. It is intended to secure the front servo to the chassis more solidly, minimising movement at the mount and preserving steering alignment when the model is under load.
On CC-02 layouts using the factory front servo location the part installs to the existing front brace attachment points and accepts a standard servo in the original position. Make sure to verify servo horn clearance and alignment before final assembly and reuse chassis fasteners where they match. For tuning, adding this aluminum brace decreases front compliance, which can translate to steadier steering when running heavier servos or more aggressive suspension geometry.
