Upper link bracket for CC-02 chassis

This aluminum upper suspension link mount is produced as a direct-fit replacement for the TAMIYA CC-02 chassis. It takes the place of the factory plastic mount and provides a stiffer pivot point for the upper link.

In service the bracket helps keep the upper link in a consistent position, aiding predictable suspension geometry when you adjust droop, camber, or roll centre. The neutral profile is focused on alignment and repeatability rather than changing suspension travel or damping.

Fitting uses the same holes and hardware locations as the stock CC-02 item. Remove the original mount per the chassis instructions, move any required hardware and link ends across, then secure this aluminium bracket with the existing bolts. Consult the CC-02 manual for torque recommendations and assembly order to avoid over-tightening.

How do I replace the stock mount on my CC-02?

Remove the original upper link mount following the CC-02 service guide, transfer the link ends and any bushings, then fit the aluminium unit using the same fasteners and mounting points.

Should I use new screws or reuse the originals?

You can generally reuse the compatible fasteners from the stock mount if they are in good condition. Inspect threads and heads, and replace any damaged hardware before final assembly.

Will this change the CC-02 suspension travel?
