This aluminium hold-down fits the TAMIYA CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 and is catalogued as CC20126. It is an upgrade that swaps the original plastic clip for a firmer metal clamp, helping keep the battery secure and improving passive heat escape.

Cut from 6061 T6 aluminium, the main body balances strength with low mass and features a patterned finish to help airflow around the pack. This hop-up is intended to add mechanical stability and thermal support without changing electronics or wiring.

Fitting is straightforward on CC02 platforms: position the plate over the battery and use the supplied black body clip to lock it down. The part is sized to sit inside the stock battery area so scale appearance is preserved.

For scale trail use the hold-down reduces battery movement, which helps retain a consistent centre of gravity and predictable handling on uneven terrain.
