This aftermarket kit swaps the original front steering link and servo horn on Tamiya CC02 MERCEDES-BENZ G500 models to provide a more robust and serviceable steering package. Brass and aluminium parts work with stainless-steel fixings to cut steering play and resist corrosion while keeping the focus on servo safety and adjustable tie-rod length.
Length changes are purely mechanical: the adjustable link uses opposing threads so you can set coarse length by turning the link, then set the final position using the tie-rod positioning hole. The servo horn features a spring element to soften sudden shocks and reduce impact transfer to the servo.
The component selection targets long-term hobby use: stainless steel for the threaded hardware and brass/aluminium for a rigid mounting interface compatible with CC02 steering geometry.
The components are built for direct replacement of the front steering link and servo horn, preserving factory mounting points while introducing finer adjustability and stronger fasteners for regular set-up and light crash protection.
