This JR-CC208-S rear upper suspension link arm kit replaces the CC-02's factory plastic upper links with CNC-machined aluminum components designed for scale RC use on the Tamiya CC-02 chassis.
Functionally, the upper links set the top mounting points for the rear suspension and affect roll center and toe change under compression. Upgrading to aluminum lowers pivot flex and helps maintain suspension geometry consistency over extended running, improving repeatable handling behavior.
Fitting generally uses the existing rear assembly link mounts on the CC-02. Check original screws and ball studs for wear and reuse only if they remain in good condition; otherwise fit correct OEM-equivalent replacements. Confirm free pivot movement after assembly to avoid binding issues.
Setup tip: aluminum links may alter the effective chassis response when you modify shock length, anti-squat or swaybar settings. Make incremental setup changes and test to find the right balance for your preferred surface.
