This aftermarket aluminum upper mount fits the Tamiya CC02 Mercedes-Benz G500 chassis, model CC20127, and is intended to hold the battery more securely in the CC02 bay while improving thermal contact. It is supplied as a replacement/upgrade part for hobbyists seeking better pack stability.
Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium, the bracket offers a good weight to strength ratio and a textured contact area that helps draw heat away from the battery housing. The kit includes the aluminum mount plus the stainless steel fasteners required for fitment.
Fitting reuses the original chassis mounting points and the provided screws. When mounted, the plate limits battery shift on uneven surfaces and assists passive cooling through direct metal contact with the pack.
