This aluminium rear suspension arm mount and gearbox support is a scale hop-up intended to substitute the stock B8 rear mount on the TAMIYA chassis named above. It is a direct-fit replacement that increases stiffness at the rear mounting point and improves the connection between the suspension arm and the wavebox during normal use.
The part fits the Thunder Shot, Thunder Dragon, Fire Dragon and Terra Scorcher chassis only. Manufactured from aluminium alloy and finished in red, it mounts in the original B8 location and relies on the model's existing fasteners for installation.
Installation guidance: remove the factory B8 mount and align the JAZRIDER mount to the gearbox and suspension pivots, ensuring flush seating and unobstructed suspension travel before final tightening. No alterations to servos, ESC, motor or gearbox internals are required. Consider this upgrade to firm up rear-end response on compact, hard surfaces.
Care and setup: inspect mating surfaces after installation for any sharp burs, maintain correct screw torque to prevent loosening while running, and verify clearance to adjacent chassis components. After any rear geometry changes, check full travel to ensure the arm clears the mount.
