Performance saver and tie rod for CW-01

This aluminium hi-torque servo saver set is an RC replacement item for the Tamiya CW-01 (Lunch Box) platform, offering a 23T saver spline and a machined aluminium tie rod in one kit. The combination protects the servo from impact shock while increasing steering stiffness compared with the OEM plastic parts.

Fitment replaces the stock saver and linkage using the CW-01 steering knuckle and servo horn attachment points. Verify compatibility with your chassis and servo prior to fitting, tighten linkages by hand first and sweep the steering through full travel to ensure freedom of movement.

When tuning, the aluminium components provide a crisper steering response which helps when setting toe and throw for handling changes. Regular maintenance should include checking threads, fasteners and confirming the saver still allows the intended protective movement to avoid servo damage.
