Front lower arm upgrade for DF-02 chassis

This alloy front lower arm set serves as an aftermarket replacement for the Tamiya DF-02 platform. The kit includes the arm plus mounting hardware: pins, 2.5mm E-clips, Delrin collars and screws. It is intended to replace the original plastic lower arm in scale RC suspension systems.

Fit this arm when you want a firmer mounting point at the front or need a direct replacement after damage. The alloy construction delivers improved rigidity over stock plastic, and the included hardware supports reuse of standard DF-02 mounting points.

Assembly notes: the part is a direct-fit for DF-02 lower-arm geometry. During installation check the alignment and that pins are retained correctly, fit the supplied 2.5mm E-clips to the pins and make sure Delrin collars hold the correct preload. Standard hobby tools are all that are required.

Specifications

  • Item: Front lower arm set, 1 pr
  • Material: Alloy
  • Model Number: DF2055
  • Included: Pins, 2.5mm E-clips, Delrin collars, screws
  • Compatibility: Tamiya DF-02

For tuners who prefer metal front suspension parts or need a robust replacement for a worn arm, this alloy DF-02 lower arm provides a solid aftermarket option complete with mounting hardware.

No special tools are required beyond common hobby hand tools such as pliers, a small driver set and a pair of snap-ring pliers for E-clip fitting.
The alloy arm is suitable for both occasional track use and club-level competition where reduced flex and consistent geometry are beneficial. Final setup will determine performance.
This arm is specified for DF-02 mounting geometry. If another model shares the same lower-arm layout it may fit, but verify geometry and mounting points before assuming compatibility.
After initial runs check for play at the pin joints, inspect E-clips for deformation and confirm the Delrin collars remain seated. Re-torque screws if required.
