The DT02-03/HD universal shaft is built as a heavy duty hop-up for Tamiya DT-02 1/10 scale rigs. It is intended to improve service access and minimise drivetrain play without changing the chassis ride or geometry.

Use this part as a component-level refresh during maintenance or when tuning for more predictable handling. It fits DT-02 specification drivetrains and is best fitted when replacing worn or noisy stock drives.

Fitting is routine for hobbyists used to DT-02 axle work: remove the old drives from the axle housings, fit the DT02-03/HD shaft, and confirm spline engagement and clearance. After installation, verify smooth rotation, no binding, and retighten fasteners to recommended torque.
