DT-03 specific aluminium servo saver

The JR-DT309-RD upgrade from Jazrider was created for the TAMIYA DT-03 chassis, offering an aluminium servo saver paired with matching aluminium tie rods. It features a 25T servo spline and stronger linkages aimed at cutting steering slop for more repeatable inputs.

This component set emphasises steering accuracy and easy adjustability without changing the drivetrain layout. Aluminium parts resist deformation under load so steering geometry stays truer during scaled driving, and the 25T spline is compatible with common 25T servos used in the hobby market. Intended for RC hobbyists and scale driving applications.

Fitting advice: install onto the DT-03 steering assembly and adjust tie rod lengths to achieve neutral toe. Centre the servo and test steering throw before finalising locknuts. Minor tweaks to rod length and saver tension will noticeably affect toe and steering temperament, so make incremental adjustments and re-test.

Standard hobby tools are sufficient: hex drivers, pliers and a ruler for setting rod lengths. Thread locking and careful alignment are recommended for secure installation.
Aluminium resists flex but can transfer shock into other components; while more durable against bending, it may show surface marks from impacts. Regular inspection is advised after heavy runs.
Yes — changing tie rod lengths and servo saver preload changes toe and steering centre. Use small increments and test until steering is neutral and balanced for your driving style.
