DT-03 Front Hex Upgrade

This aluminium front wheel hex is an RC-scale replacement crafted for TAMIYA DT-03 applications and matched to GPM optional wheels and tyres. The pair is supplied as a 2pcs set and includes bearings to smooth wheel rotation and cut hub friction compared with plastic hexes.

Designed specifically for the DT-03 platform, the adapter is intended for use with GPM optional wheels and tyres and should not be treated as a universal hex solution. It replaces the stock front wheel hex at the hub to deliver improved centring and rotational accuracy.

During setup the adapter aids consistent wheel positioning under corner load and assists in precise tyre alignment when changing wheel sets, making it useful for chassis servicing and track adjustments.

Can I fit this to aftermarket wheels that are not GPM?

The adapter is optimised for GPM optional wheels and tyres on the DT-03; if using other wheels, confirm the hub bore and offset match before fitting.

Is the bearing preinstalled and how many hexes come in the pack?

Bearings are integrated and the item is supplied as a 2pcs front set to replace both front hexes.

Will this change steering feel?

You may notice crisper centring and reduced play at the hub, which can translate to a more predictable steering response once installed and torqued correctly.
