DT-03 Rear Dogbone Description

This aluminium rear dogbone serves as an RC-accurate replacement to join the CVD output and wheel hub on TAMIYA DT-03 rear drivetrains. It removes the weak plastic posts and gives a more reliable connection for the rear drives.

Machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminium with a polished finish, the replacement is more robust than the original molded posts. The shaft diameter is 10mm, 1mm larger than the factory plastic parts, and the unit is thicker to reduce bending and breakage. The product comes as a 2 pcs set to swap both rear posts at once.

Fitting is straightforward as a direct replacement for the stock DT-03 rear posts; confirm fit and alignment before final assembly to avoid binding. Swapping to a thicker aluminium post reduces flex in the rear drive link and can improve drive consistency when running harder or carrying extra weight. Colour options are available from the maker for visual coordination.
