This machined aluminium rear hub carrier is made to replace the plastic unit on Tamiya DT-03 chassis layouts. It offers a firmer mounting point for the rear wheel hub while keeping the original DT-03 geometry and service procedure intact.
Fitting is a routine DT-03 service task: remove the OEM carrier, move bearings and small parts as required, secure the replacement to the existing mounting points with the original hardware, and confirm wheel alignment and suspension travel. Typical hand tools such as hex keys and axle wrenches handle the job.
As an upgrade it provides a consistent pivot surface for tuning the rear suspension and steering links, helping alignment remain stable under load. The orange anodised finish also assists quick visual checks and the part uses standard fastener locations for simple swaps.
