This aluminium wheel joint is offered as an aftermarket replacement for the Tamiya DT03 chassis. It replaces the original plastic joint at the wheel hub to provide a firmer mounting point on 1/10 scale models for repair or setup work.
The unit locates at the hub interface and works within the standard DT03 wheel assembly. Installation requires removing the wheel to access the hub, fitting the joint, and then checking wheel alignment and smooth rotation after reassembly.
For tuning and setup the metal joint helps limit play at the hub and gives a repeatable reference for alignment adjustments. It should be used as a maintenance or incremental tuning item rather than as a dramatic performance upgrade.
