70mm front shock, adjustable alloy design

This front shock kit is an aftermarket option built to fit the TAMIYA DT-04 RC FIGHTER NXGEN platform. The cylinders are machined from 6061-T6 aluminium, prefilled with 500cSt silicon oil and sealed to help prevent leaks. The shaft diameter is increased to 3.5mm and the shock pin is hardened to improve long-term wear resistance under frequent use.

Tuning and maintenance notes: the assembly reduces internal drag, cushions dynamic loads at the front axle and provides an adjustable damper height for precise ride-height and spring-rate tuning. A black spring keeps OEM-like behaviour, while the included silver spring (1.1mm wire) gives a slightly firmer rate for altered response without changing the shock housing.

Fitment advice: these are intended for the front positions with a 70mm centre distance and use the same mounting points as the DT-04 front shock region. Install with the supplied hardware to replace stock front dampers; verify eyelet spacing before final torqueing and secure the grade 12.9 screws provided.
